Playbook · Promotion mechanics
How do you run a promotion in 4,000 pharmacies when none of them share data?
No shared POS data. No app to download. No barcodes to scan. And still, the promotion has to be measurable per outlet. There are three mechanics that solve it, and each one solves a different part of the problem.

Pharmacy is the highest-trust channel in beauty and personal care, and the least transparent one. Sell-in tells you what left the warehouse. It does not tell you which pharmacy actually pushed your product, or which shopper walked out with it.
Three mechanics, three jobs
The seamless pharmacy flow
The pharmacist explains the offer in one sentence and the shopper is done at the counter. Simple for everyone, verified for the brand. Use it when you want maximum participation across a fragmented network.
The loyalty booster
Reward shoppers who come back. The second and third purchase are where margin lives, and where most pharmacy promotions stop measuring. Use it when repeat purchase, not trial, is the objective.
The basket builder
Reward more products in one basket. Boost volume, grow the brand inside the same visit. Use it when you need to move units and lift the average basket at the same time.
What they have in common
Every mechanic links a real purchase to a specific outlet, without asking the pharmacist to learn a new system and without asking the shopper to install anything. That link is what turns a promotion into data: which pharmacies activated, which shoppers bought, and what it cost per verified sale.
The mechanic decides participation. If the pharmacist cannot explain it in 30 seconds, the flow is too complicated, and the numbers at the end of the campaign will show it.
